| Historical Highlights: |
The club has participated in most local community events since it started including the winter Celebration of the Lakes, Frank Dusenkaâs Regional Bass Tournament, and the local community celebrations where they have sponsored booths and various other activities. In addition, they fund Trails, scholarships, help students go to National Competitions, and fund other local activities such as Family Pathways. To date, the club has donated over $63,000 to local and RI projects, with about 70% going to local projects. |
| Centennial Project: |
The club is outfitting a new lakeside park on School Lake in Chisago City with trails, a picnic shelter, and picnic benches. The initial work will be completed in 2007. |
| Historical Highlights: |
Helped with mentoring programs and lectures on business at the local schools. Also helped sponsor an area leadership academy. Sponsor at least one local scholarship/year. |
| Group Study Exchange: |
We have hosted a GSE team for each year for a day, showing them a small local Gouda Cheese Making factory and Hazelden, a nationally known substance abuse rehab facility. We hold our weekly meetings in their Dining Room |

| Matching Club Project: |
The club has participated with other clubs in building a well in an orphanage, and a bus project. We were the primary sponsor for donating computers to schools and libraries in Ghana in 2005. |

Jim McCarville has served on several District Committees, the District Advisory Board, and has been Assistant District Governor for 2003-2005 and ADG Coordinator for 2007-8.
