Road clean up twice a year. First fundraiser was an auction and somehow we had 20 hospital beds to be auctioned off. Another fundraiser that we had for over 10 years was Summerfest. Summerfest was an outdoor party that was well attended by many members of our community. And was a huge moneymaker for our club. In 2005, we switched our fundraiser to Race For Rotary. This is go kart racing held in a large parking lot in town. We also have a raffle on that day that brings in some extra money. We have a "Tax Blast" chukkar hunt in April for members and anyone else interested in hunting. We sell roses as another fundraiser for our club. Helped fund and worked at Schumacher Field (baseball park in Forest Lake) Other moneymaker that our club has had Spring Fling, wine tasting party, Rotary members and spouses.

Invite 3 students per month to visit with our club and attend a meeting. Have small certificates to pass out to each student. Send two students every year to Camp RYLA. Engage Boy Scouts and Explorers to help with projects. Our club bought and stores about 10-15 tents/awnings. We allow the Explorer Post to rent them out in the summer to anyone that needs a shelter for a one or two day event. The Explorer Post charges a fee for rental and comes in and sets up and tears down the tents. The full rental fee goes to the Explorer Post if the organization is a non-profit and if not a non-profit the fee is split between the Explorer Post and our Rotary Club. As of 2005, the Explorer Post no longer needs the support for this fundraiser. Our club is currently looking for a scout troop to take this over or maybe our club will do this as a fundraiser.
