Historical Highlights:   Adopt-A-Highway (First in area), Nordic Jr. Olympics, Lawry Memorial Skate Park, Meals On Wheels, County Food Shelf, Hayward Carnegie Library, Fishing Has No Boundaries, Project Graduation, County Emergency Assist and Rescue Unit, Habitat For Humanity, Assisting at the annual Hospital Picnic, Cub Scouts, Boys and Girls Club of LCO, Elizabeth Home of Hope, Harvest of Friends (Backpack Project), Hayward Foundation for Educational Enrichment, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, Nordic Kids, Northwest Connection Family Resources, People to People, etc.

Centennial Project:   Funding for new Library with literacy project.
 
VOCATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Consistently offers 7 (seven) $500 scholarships

Offers scholarships for students to attend Camp RYLA and Camp Enterprise.

Over 240 Scholastic Children's Dictionaires were distributed to 3rd graders in the Sawyer County Schools, including Hayward, LCO, Stone Lake, Winter, and Minong. This is three year commitment.

Our club supported a Girl's Vocational Center in Dapaong, Togo, Africa.
 
INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Two stuends were supported at the UW-Whitewater World Affairs Seminar.
Youth Exchange:   Inbound: Sweden, Japan, Chile, South Korea, Czechoslovakia, Moldova, Finland, South Africa, Romania, France, Italy, Germany
Outbound: Lithuania in 2006-07, Mexico 2004-05

Matching Club Project:   Support to the Tanzania and Haiti's Water Project. Costa Rico School Enrichment Project for three schools and the Togo, 10 large diameter well, project.
 
CLUB SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Typically our club gathers for fellowship three times a year - Christmas Party, Spring gathering and a late summer gathering

Our club has two major fund raisers - the Rose Sale in the Fall, and the Musky Festival in the Summer. Our club also participates in a Rib/Brew Fest on Labor Day and has had a small Art Print sales project.
Foundation/Paul Harris Fellows:   Currently there are 21 Paul Harris Fellows, several of whom are multiple fellows and one Benefactor.
