COMMUNITY SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Sponsored the first Community Boys Week; in World War II, sponsored the Committee on Economic Development which later became Jobs, inc.; during World War II took responsibility for raising all necessary funds for the Red Cross; 1953 provided 3 RR carloads of produce to School of the Ozarks, then suffering from a severe drought and crop failure; sponsored a day camp for the physically handicapped.

Centennial Project:   Provided labor and funds for a Habitat for Humanity house.
 
VOCATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Sponsored Ã??????Career DaysÃ?????? at the High School; started and sponsored the 4-H Baby Beef Project; award annual scholarships to high school and community college students.
 
INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

Youth Exchange:   Regularly host one inbound student and send one outbnound student
Group Study Exchange:   Have hosted numerous GSE Teams; have provided one GSE Team Leader (Bangladesh) and one
GSE Team Member (Mexico).
Ambassadorial/Peace Scholars:   Have sponsored and interviewed candidates ; have sponsored one successful Ambassadorial Scholar
Matching Club Project:   We Co-Sponsor with Austin in supporting a WCS Project in Nepal
 
CLUB SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Starting in 1974 we sponsored a Rotary Club Fishing Trip, an annual event for over 20 years; For over 50 years we have installed our new officers and directors at a Family Steak Fry; we have hosted the Miss Minnesota Contestants for our weekly program; we have held a Club MembersÃ?????? Talent Night; we award perfect attendance and 50-year membership pins.
Foundation/Paul Harris Fellows:   Every year we have a Paul Harris Group going and we consistently add new PH fellows, frequently including spouses. We have several multiple Paul Harris Fellows. All proceeds from our weekly “Harpo Dollars” (“happy dollars”) go to the Rotary Foun
District/International Officers:   Our club has provided one District Governor, Bill Sturtz, in 1973-74, and he was the Host District Governor for the Rotary International Convention in Minneapolis that year.
