COMMUNITY SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Provide ice cream at the annual Vadnais Heights Heritage Days Celebration.
Play bingo at another community event.
Sponsored CPR classes for the community through the Red Cross.
Salvation Army bell ringers. We involve the Interact Club too.
Helping Little Heroes-sell newspapers for children's hospital fundraiser.

Centennial Project:   Painted a local YMCA Skateboard park and provided three Rotary benches.
 
VOCATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Student day at the state capital.

Sponsor students for Camp RYLA (leadership development).
Participate in STRIVE and set up a scholarship fund with another club.
Sponsor students for Camp Enterprise (business leadership development).
 
INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Partnered with LaJolle, CA and Korean clubs to provide a van for a Korean orphange.
Participated with other clubs to obtain compressors for drilling machines to reach water in Tanzania.
Helped start a club in Tblisi, Georgia (formerly Russia). Worked with Global Healing to furnish a children's heart hospital with medical supplies, equipment, and a transducer for an echocardio machine.
Provided school and hospital supplies to a community in Guyana, South America.
Worked with other clubs to provide washing machines, dryers and ovens for a Honduras orphanage.
Youth Exchange:   Our club has hosted exchange students from Costa Rica, New Zealand, Norway, Georgia (Russia) and Paraguay.
Group Study Exchange:   When the GSE teams have been in our district we have paritcipated in hosting them for a day. We have had teams from:
Ambassadorial/Peace Scholars:   Proud sponsor of Jacob M. Anderson, 2005-2006 Ambassadorial Scholar, assigned study institution - Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

CLUB SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Fundraisers: selling roses in October and an annual Gold Plate Dinner with bingo and auction items in March.
In 2004 started an annual Christmas dinner social.

Paricipate in Fast for Hope.
Participated in Polio Plus to eradicate polio worldwide.
Foundation/Paul Harris Fellows:   Thirteen members are Paul Harris recipients. We regularly award a Paul Harris to deserving community citizens.
