COMMUNITY SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Annually participate in National Night Out in West St. Paul & Mendota Heights; Adopt-A-Highway (Delaware Ave. from Dodd Rd. to I-494); Regularly prepare & serve food at Loaves & Fishes at St. Matthew's Church in West St. Paul; Help at 2nd Harvest Food Shelf, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity; Annually participate in the American Red Cross Blood Drive; Annually plant trees in city parks in honor of each of our weekly speakers.

Centennial Project:   Provided two beautiful, sturdy park benches, one in Mendota Heights, one in Thompson Oaks Park West St. Paul
 
VOCATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Annually send students to Camp Enterprise and Camp RYLA;
Annually award scholarships to Henry Sibley High seniors;
The fifth Wednesday of a month is devoted to vocationals. Selected Members give a presentation about themselves or host the meeting at their place of work in order to better know one another.
 
INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
Historical Highlights:   Since 2002, sponsored a Guatemalan child through Common Hope;
In partnership with Riverview Baptist Church we help to make fleece blankets for orphans in Russia;
Built a chicken coop in St. Lucas, Virgin Islands;
Building a library/computer room at Holy Cross Anglican School in Belize.
Youth Exchange:   Over the years hosted several high school students from foreigh countries including India, Japan and Venezuela and the Faroe Islands.
Group Study Exchange:   Hosted GSE teams over the years including those from Germany, France, India and Brazil, and supported team members to go abroad
Ambassadorial/Peace Scholars:   Interviewed candidates for both programs. In 2003, we sponsored a young woman in Australia.
Matching Club Project:   Participated with other clubs in international projects including sorting medical supplies for ROHMSD, Contributing to Books for Africa, and Contributing to The Eye Guys (a program that provides cataract surgery in India)
 
CLUB SERVICE
Historical Highlights:  
Spring & Fall we participate in area park clean-ups; At the holidays we partner with Neighbors, Inc for the Adopt-A-Family program to provide gifts for families in need.
Annually we particapate in the American Red Cross Blood Drive.
Each spring we plant trees in community parks in honor the speakers we've had at our weekly meetings throughout the previous year.
Foundation/Paul Harris Fellows:   We have consistently provided Paul Harris Fellows. 18 of our current members are Paul Harris Fellows, 4 are Multiple fellows and we have 3 benefactors.
District/International Officers:   Two of our members have or are currently serving as Assistant Governors. They are Bev Fritz and Dave Hanson.
Rotary Awards:   We have received numerous Presidential Citations
 
MISCELLANEOUS
Historical Highlights:   We have two major fundraisers each year: Moonstruck which is a play at night golf tournament and silent auction held at Southview Country Club in Sept., and Rotary Roses which is a rose sale we hold each spring.
