Under the direction of District Governor, Craig Leiser and DRFCC, Newell Krogmann to efficiently communicate to our member Rotarians in District 5960, we have created this 8 minute video and are asking you to show it to all members of your club at one of your regular club meetings during the month of November, which is Foundation Month. Rather than make personal visits or make this an entire program, this video is meant for you to use how you see fit. If you have plans to create a whole program around awareness for the Foundation using this video, along with club plans…that’s great! If you use this video along with a programs you already have scheduled, that’s fine too. We just ask you show the video at one of the regularly scheduled November meetings to all Rotary Club members.
For viewing, you have two options:
1.)If you have internet access at your club meeting location…simply visit the Rotary Web Site and play the video through this link.
2.)If you do not have internet access at your club meeting site, then download this video from the link to a USB storage device or a DVD to use on a computer or DVD player for your program.
As Club President, feel free to delegate the task and duty to your Foundation Fundraising Chair, or Committee…or pass this along to your Program Chair to include with their planning to ensure all Rotarians get the message.
Please remember, the two things to come out of the video for you as Presidents will be to:
1.)Adopt and promote the philosophy of “Foundation First” within your club
2.)Find a passionate “Foundation Champion” within your club to lead the efforts to increase the contributions to our Foundation.
