GRANTS MANAGEMENT SEMINARS AND GLOBAL GRANTS WORKSHOPS

REQUIRED FOR 2020-2021 ROTARY FOUNDATION GRANTS

Attendance by at least one member of a club is required at one of the following Grants Management Seminars (GMS) in order for a District 5960 Rotary Club to receive a Rotary Foundation District Grant or a Global Grant in Rotary Year 2020-2021. (Attendance at a GMS last year does not qualify a club for grants in 2020-2021. Annual attendance at a GMS is required.)

Grants Management Seminars in preparation for the Rotary Year 2020-2021 will be presented on the following dates. There is no charge to attend. Our District Training Fee covers the cost. Registration is required to attend. Registration is limited to 30 persons per seminar.  Each person must register separately.

This year, we have added a few new features:
  • A Grants Management Seminar online refresher course: if you (a member, not just someone from the club) has attended a GMS in one of the past two years, you can attend this webinar to cover the important features for this year.
  • We have added Global Grant Workshops for two reasons: 1) to gear the GMS more towards District Grants (and thus not having to cover so much information), and 2) to be able to help create a deeper understanding for Global Grant sponsors.  If you are going to sponsor a Global Grant, YOU MUST ATTEND both the GMS and Global Grant Workshop.
