For 8 Rotarians and/or partners  the 5th RFE exchange for District 5960 which is now arranged with Rotary District 3820 in the Philippines. The Republic of the Philippines is a country in the western Pacific Ocean. With an estimated population of about 86 million people, the Philippines is the world's 13th most populous country. Ecologically, the Philippines with its tropical climate is one of the most diverse countries in the world. Primary exports include semiconductors and electronic products, transport equipment, garments, copper products, petroleum products, coconut oil, and fruits. The Philippines constitutes an archipelago of 7,107 islands with a total land area of approximately 300,000 square kilometers (116,000 square miles). Most of the mountainous islands were covered in tropical rainforest and are volcanic in origin. English and Filipino (Tagalog) are the official languages.


Inbound RFE Exchange with Philippines will be for 12 days sometime during the time period from June 11-19, 2010.
