Welcome to June and my last Around the District. It's been a great year. The best part of the year....getting out and meeting all of you. I have been constantly amazed by your tenacity, your innovation, and your projects - all to make the world a better place for someone else. It is easy to look out at our neighborhoods, our nation, our world and fixate on the division, the anger, the hatred. But we need to continue to look for the good. We need to continue to believe that we can make the world a better place. By caring about others as much as we care about ourselves, by recognizing that there is more that unites us than divides us, and by listening instead of speaking in order to understand, we will see peace come to our world. Thank you for all you have done and all you continue to do.to make peace visible in the world.
Around the District - June 2023
Yours in Rotary,
Dayle Quigley MD (she/her/hers)
Rotary District 5960 Governor 2022-2023
Rotary Club of Saint Paul #10
During this time, we’ll celebrate the clubs that have done a great job in different ways this year and will also hear from many of them to find out how they had that success. This is a great way to not only celebrate our impact as Rotarians but learn about ideas that you can bring back to your clubs. And…it’ll be a great send-off for District Governor Dayle Quigley and all the Club Presidents for 2022-23 too!
The purpose of the District Training Assembly is to train club leaders, but it is open to all Rotarians. There will be breakout sessions specifically designed to help those in the roles of secretary, treasurer, and team leads in DEI, Membership, Public Image, and The Rotary Foundation. If you lead one of these teams, please join one of the sessions and invite your team members to participate.
The District Training Assembly will be held virtually in June, and there are two options.
