Germany District 1860 - Spring 2019
    
Rotary International has created a new Group Cultural Exchange (GCE). This is a hybrid between the traditional Group Study Exchange and Rotary Friendship Exchange, and is open to Rotarians and Non-Rotarians!
 
DG Mike Becker has arranged a Group Culturtal Exchange next spring with District 1860 in Germany .  This will be approximately a two-week trip.  We expect the German team here in 2019-20 Rotary Year . The outbound team to Germany will travel the end of May.
 
The purpose of the trips is foster International goodwill, peace and understanding. Team members will help identify service projects that can be executed by clubs working together from each District.
 
The Team will be in home stays in their destination districts.  However, this is a pay as you go trip. Participants are expected to fund their own transportation and may be required to purchase some meals and foot other expenses.
 
Teams are open to Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike who are at least 25 years old.  Team members may go as couples.  Criteria details are listed in the links on one left.
 

Applications are available from the District office or can be downloaded from the links listed on the left.   The deadline for receipt of the applications is __________,2018.  Depending on need, an interview date for the team would be on the morning of ________________ at the District Office, 2233 Hamline Ave N, Suite 620, St. Paul  Further information on the interview will be determined after receipt of the applications.
