Rotary International has created a new Group Cultural Exchange (GCE). This is a hybrid between the traditional Group Study Exchange and Rotary Friendship Exchange, and is open to Rotarians and Non-Rotarians!
DG Kyle Haugen has arranged a Group Culutal Exchange next spring with District 2490 in Israel .  This will be approximately a two-week trip.  We expect the Israeli team here April 12-22 . The outbound team to Israel will travel April 25- May 7.
The purpose of the trips is foster International goodwill, peace and understanding. Team members will help identify service projects that can be executed by clubs working together from each District.
The Team will be in home stays in their destination districts.  However, this is a pay as you go trip. Participants are expected to fund their own transportation and may be required to purchase some meals and foot other expenses.
Teams are open to Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike who are at least 25 years old.  Team members may go as couples.  Criteria details are listed in the links on one left.

Applications are available from the District office or can be downloaded from the links listed on the left.   The deadline for receipt of the applications is December 4, 2017.  Depending on need, an interview date for the team would be on the morning of Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Boy Scout Service Center, 393 Marshall Ave, St Paul, MN.  Further information on the interview will be determined after receipt of the applications.
